"Banger" shred boy hand in Asaba

This is a warning to parents and everyone to be extra careful with fireworks handling this season

The festive season is mostly associated with different kinds of fireworks, but mishandling this “domestic” explosives could have devastating consequences.

This post should serve as a reminder and a very serious wake-up call to parents this yuletide season to be extra careful, especially those who go out of their ways to buy explosives popularly called 'Knockouts' and bangers for their children.

A young kid in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, had almost half of his hand blown off, tearing his right hand to shred while he was trying to throw the explosive.

The boy was rushed to the Federal Medical Center in the town where doctors have been battling to save his hand.
