According to rumors, the comedian's friends are pleading with his supporters to pray for him.

While the actor's exact condition is still unknown, according to sources close to the 55-year-old Oscar winner, he currently needs all the prayers he can get, according to TMZ.

Foxx has been receiving medical care at a Georgia hospital for more than three weeks, and researchers are conducting tests to determine what happened.

Foxx's 29-year-old daughter Corinne revealed on Instagram on April 12 that her father was receiving emergency medical attention.

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the statement from the family said.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

On April 21, a source reportedly informed People that the actor is "OK" but "still in the hospital."

“Doctors are running tests, but he’s awake and alert,” the source added. “They’re keeping him under observation.”

One day before he was sent to the hospital, Foxx was seen filming "Back in Action" with 50-year-old Cameron Diaz. Production resumed with his body double after a brief hiatus while he's in the hospital.
