An 'Okadaman' has been sent to prison for attempting to rape another man

John Ezekiel, a 40-year-old commercial motorcyclist popularly called 'Okadaman', has been sentenced to three months imprisonment by an Abuja Grade 1 Area Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory, for trying forcefully sodomizing a male neighbour in Dawaki village, a satellite town in the FCT.

As reported by Daily Trust the prosecutor, Babajide Olanipekun, had told the court that Julius Samuel, reported at the Dutsen Alhaji Police Station on November 29, 2015, that the accused went to his house and attempted to have anal sex with him, adding that when the complainant refused, the suspect bit off his lower lip.

When the charge was read to Ezekiel, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three months imprisonment by the judge, Mohammed Marafa.

The judge also ordered Ezekiel to pay Samuel compensation in the sum of N8, 000.
