A duo of father and son whole stole and sold over $41, 000 worth of chicken wings from a New York restaurant have been arrested, authorities said.
This happened at the restaurant where the duo were both employees and sold them to other business individuals or on the streets.
56-year-old Paul Rojek and 33-year-old Joshua Rojek were caught by the Onondaga County Sheriff, stealing chicken wings from the Twin Trees Too Restaurant in Syracuse. The pair are both from Syracuse.
Father and son were employed as cooks during which they placed numerous chicken wings orders with the restaurant wholesaler, says deputy of the county Sheriff's office.
Paul and Joshua Rojek would later pick up the orders and resell them at a reduced price, says officials.
Deputies said, the wing orders the men billed to the restaurant account is worth about $41, 000 between February and November 21.
Father and son have been charged with larceny and falsifying business records.
It is unclear if either of them had an attorney that could comment on the allegations.
