Lady turn down proposal because size of diamond on ring

As a lady, would you turn down the marriage proposal of your boyfriend because the diamond on the ring was too small?

Well, a Chinnese man got the shock of his life when he proposed to his heartthrob in a well-organized artistic setup to propose to his fiancé.

The lady at the centre of the event turned down the marriage proposal because the size of the diamond on the ring was below her expectations.

According to a man who witnessed the event, people there were all marveled as the man was seen on his knee while hired dancers performed in front of her in an elaborate display all to please her.

He said that the lady was seen as her eyes went wide and also as put her hand over her mouth then was seen to turn around and walked away from the scene without uttering a word to anyone.

Another eye witness bitterly said that the girl initially seems overcome by the performance on a street in Chengdu, the capital city of South-west china's sichuan province.

At one point, she started crying as her boyfriend walked towards her but when he went down on one knee and held up the box, opening the ring to propose to her, her eyes caught the ring and she was less than impressed as the diamond she saw on the ring was below her expectations.

A screen shot of a Wechat conversation allegedly between her and her girlfriend was later leaked online and published alongside the story.

In the message, the girl bitterly complained to her girlfriend how he had promise to buy her a diamond ring as large as one carat for proposal and how she felt bad seeing that the diamond on the ring was very small. "Why was the diamond so small? Is he so careless or has he never cared about me" she bitterly told her girlfriend.

Don't worry her girlfriend replied, perhaps the bigger one will be waiting for you later or he has not prepared it for this time she tried consoling her.
