This man is surely not ready to part with his money even if it’s already in God’s hand
According to a report on Nairobi News, an angry Kenyan man, Geoffrey Odhiambo, caused a stir when he stormed a church service demanding that the Sh200,000 (about N38,000) his wife had earlier given the church as her tithe, which was a loan he took from a bank for his business and that the money should be returned to him.
It is reported that members of the Jesus Elevation Tabernacle Church in Kisumu were thrown into a shock as Odhiambo narrated that he had used his car as collateral for the loan that his wife used without his consent.
Witnesses said the woman told the pastor that she gave the money as 'tithe for prayers as there were evil spirits and devils in her house'.
A member of the church said Odhiambo complained it was not the first time the woman had taken his money to the church without asking him.
It took male ushers more than 10 minutes to eject Odhiambo from the midday service moments before the police arrived after he reported the matter at Kisumu Central police station.
