The University of Ilorin has announced that it will participate in the Academic Staff Union of Universities strike on February 9th, 2022
As a result, the institution's administrators have moved all Wednesday exams to Saturday, December 12th, 2022.This comes after the union announced on Monday that if the federal government does not accept its demands, it will go on indefinite strike.
According to a circular obtained by Naija News, the institution has asked all Sub-deans to produce a revised timetable as soon as possible.
The college also indicated that the Friday and Thursday examinations would take place.
The circular reads, “The Vice-Chancellor has approved the movement of all examinations scheduled for Wednesday, 9th February 2022 to Saturday 12th, 2022. This is due to the ASUU warning strike slated for Wednesday.
“Sub-deans should please and immediately release a revised timetable covering Thursday, 10th – Saturday, 12th February, 022.
“Thursday and Friday’s scheduled examinations remain unchanged. Only Wednesday examinations are to be moved to Saturday.
“Please circulate and publicize widely across all student and staff platforms.”
