According to Sahara Reporters, a Closed Circuit Television system established at the Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Ile-Ife, Osun State, captured the assassination of Timothy Oludare, a Master of Business Administration student at Obafemi Awolowo University
The CCTV camera apparently recorded how the hotel owner, Rahmon Adedoyin, his son, Raheem, and Adedoyin's aide, Moshood, carried out the murder, according to the story. Oriyomi Hamzat, the founder of Agidigbo FM, a radio station situated in Ibadan, Oyo State, announced this in a video uploaded on his Instagram page on Friday, according to Sahara Reporters.
Oludare slept at the hotel when he travelled to OAU to pass his exams late last year before being murdered by the hotel's owner and staff.
On Friday, Hamzat, a human rights activist, said the police had given him permission to publish the contents of the CCTV footage that showed how Oludare was slain.
He stated that a legal lawsuit will be filed in the near future.
He also said that three of the four suspects had been proclaimed sought, with Adedoyin being the sole one in police custody.
He said, “They entered his room at 12 midnight. We have seen the CCTV but the police have taken them away. It was revealed that they entered by 12:00am. Who are the suspects that killed Timothy? Moshood who is like a personal assistant to Adedoyin and an accomplice was involved as CCTV showed he entered, then Adedoyin entered, and Raheem, the son of Adedoyin and managing director of the hotel entered.
“After some minutes, we saw that they went out of the room. As they went out, they wrapped Timothy’s corpse with a hotel duvet, and tighten it with a rope. They then put it in a big carton and tighten it again with a rope. They put his body in the boot of a car and drove out.”
The family will begin preparing for the deceased's burial as the police investigate the case, according to Hamzat.
