Azealia Banks punched and bit a security guard on her breast after getting into an altercation with her

Controversial female rapper Azealia Banks is currently behind bars.

She is in jail for assaulting a female security guard yesterday (December 16).

The 24-year-old Ice Princess rapper was arraigned for allegedly punching a female security guard and biting her boob and later released, according to Page Six. She was seen posing for cameras and flashing a smile as she left Manhattan Criminal Court.

The trouble apparently started when Azealia showed up to the 'invite-only downstairs party' at Up&Down club without a proper pass and was refused admittance by the bouncers.

It’s reported that she was kicked out of the party early and arrested for third-degree assault.

'You needed a stamp to get in,' a source who witnessed the incident told Page Six, adding that when Azealia was told to go upstairs and get one she got mad.

'There was a female security guard and a male guard,' the source said, adding that neither recognized the singer, who's rumored to have collaborated with Rihanna on her forthcoming album.

Azealia was reportedly 'screaming at the top of her lungs' and 'cursing,' according to Page Six.

After she was handed a pass by one of the club owners, Page Six claimed the rapper started 'to curse at the guards again, explaining who she was, that she’s on Rihanna’s album.'

The 5 ft 7 Banks then allegedly 'spit in the (female bouncer's) face'.

The source told Page Six that as the bouncers were escorting Azealia out of the club, 'she bites the [female guard] in the breast, almost breaking her shirt.'

Azealia was apparently the one who beckoned police over to the club's entrance where she then 'punched' the female bouncer.

Cops then took Azealia into custody and as she was being taken away, asked, 'Why are you arresting me?' according to Page Six's source.

Last month, TMZ reported that Azealia was under investigation by the LAPD following her altercation with a security guard outside a club in Los Angeles.

In a video footage obtained by TMZ, Azealia can be seen getting into a fight with the guard after she was asked to leave the club for 'unruly behavior.'
