Amina Guguwa, a 50-year-old housewife, has been detained by the Bauchi State Police Command on suspicion of fatally strangling a 60-year-old competing wife named Amina Koli
A physical altercation between the two ladies resulted in the event, which happened on January 1, 2023, at Miya Village in the state's Ganjuwa Local Government Area, according to SP Ahmad Mohammed Wakil, the command's police public relations officer. Wakil claimed that after learning of the incident and being dispatched to the location, a team of detectives transported the victim to the General Hospital in Ganjuwa for a post-mortem.
He explained: “She was certified dead by a medical doctor. The investigation is in progress, after which the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.”
