Former CAN President Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife Ufoma Bernard Helen's marriage has broken down
Family sources reportedly told PM News that the 25-year marriage is now officially over. Before the marriage finally crumbled due to a protracted misunderstanding, the couple was claimed to have been at odds for a very long time.
Unverified accounts claim that the breakdown of the marriage was caused, among other things, by infidelity.
About 20 years separate Oritsejfor from his wife. Thirteen months after the passing of his first wife Stella, he wed Helen in 1997. On November 15, 1987, he established Word of Life Bible Church with Stella.
According to reports, Helen claimed that her husband wanted her dead in 2020.
According to a trusted family source, Oritsejafor parted ways with Helen after a protracted argument.
The source claimed that in addition to the pastor accusing the wife of infidelity, other factors contributed to the couple's breakup.
One of these is the Word of Life Bible Church-affiliated Eagle Flight Micro-finance Bank, which was established by Oritsejafor.
The bank is owned by the church, according to the pastor. The Eagle Flight Micro-Finance Bank's chairman was Helen. Helen allegedly modified the bank records to reflect her own name. Oritsejafor was claimed to have been enraged by this and to have taken immediate action.
According to a reliable source, Oritsejafor shut down Helen's former employer, the African Broadcasting Network (ABN), in an effort to rein in her influence.
