Waitress killed over smoking ban

A waitress working in a Waffle house in Biloxi, has paid the ultimate price fr trying to maintain her restaurant policy after she was shot in the head following an argument with a customer about smoking inside the restaurant.

According to a Biloxi police Sgt. Donnie Dobbs a 52-years-old waitress name Julie Brightwell was shot in the head by a customer after an argument break between the two concerning the restaurant no smoking policy.

The customer, 45-years-old Johnny Max Mount, allegedly pulled out a gun, shot and killed the waitress in the hit of an argument after she tried stopping him from smoking inside the restaurant.



Johnny Max, who was a former firefighter was arrested outside the restaurant when police arrived as he was walking out of the restaurant.

He was booked at the Harrison County jail on a charge of first-degree murder with a 9 mm handgun at the time of the shooting.
