Missy Elliot dance shoki

After so much time away from the music industry, Missy Elliot has made a grand entry back into the game and she's entering with Nigeria very own “shoki” dance

Rapper, singer, songwriter, Missy Elliot, has released a new single off her forthcoming album and it’s called 'Where They From' (WTF), featuring Pharell Williams.

Besides the fact that the song is getting attention because it’s great, it’s getting attention from Nigerians because of something else; Shoki.

There were doubts from people that what appeared to be shoki moves was probably just a coincidence. 

But on Sunday 15th of November, Missy tweeted a shoutout to the home of Shoki; Lagos, Nigeria:

Still, there are those who believe that the dance move was a coincidence that Missy decided to jump on. 

Whatever it is, Missy can be rest assured Nigerians are listening.
