Flight to Paris diverted due to bomb threat

Paris still seems to still be under the radar of more terror attacks based on news coming in currently from Hollywoodlife.com

Two planes heading to Paris from the United States were diverted and forced to make emergency landings after bomb threats were called in.

Two Air France planes leaving the United States and heading to Paris on Nov. 17 had to be diverted after bomb threats were called in. 

The flights made their emergency landings without incident, but this is still an act of terror.

From all these, will the terror ever stop?

The two planes heading to Paris were forced to make emergency landings after bomb threats were called in from the ground, according to CNN.

The first plane was coming from Los Angeles and was forced to land in Salt Lake City while the second plane, leaving Washington D.C. had to land in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

This comes just four days after the horrifying Nov. 13 attacks in Paris killed a confirmed 129 people so far, and injured hundreds more.

The terror alert is high, and little is known about this incident so far.

According to a passenger on the Los Angeles flight, they landed quickly and made only an announcement of “unsafe flying conditions.” Upon landing, the FBI interviewed the passengers. It is unclear if the same person called in both threats.

Whether this was hoax or not: it is still terrorism according to CNN law enforcement analyst Jonathan Gilliam. “One thing that has to be clear is that we may call this a hoax, but the reality is, terrorism — which we see going on in France right now, and here — is a tactic used to affect a psychological or political change on a community, and that is what this is.”

We’re so thankful that no one was hurt on either of the flights, but it’s still very scary that several of these threats have happened in the same day. 

Hopefully they will not continue.
