'Fulani must go': Edo women protest, block major roads

Women in Edo state have taken over roads in protesting against Fulani people while accusing them of being responsible for the killing and violence in the state

A dramatic incident has played out in Edo state after women took to the streets to protest against Fulani herdsmen.

According to Vanguard, Uromi women in Edo state on Wednesday protested against the fulani people living in the state, demanding that they must leave their community.

The women said they can no longer go to their farms, due to the fear that they may be killed by herdsmen.

They were seen blocking major roads in the town. They cited the continuous violence, killings, rape and kidnapping in the state as the reason why they don't want Fulani people in their state anymore.
