Rick Ross is hospitalized in Florida, he was reportedly put on life support after possible heart attack

According to TMZ reports, American rapper, William Leonard Roberts II, popularly known as Rick Ross, has been hospitalized. TMZ reports that the rapper has been put on life support to function in replacement for his heart and lungs.

It was gathered that Rick Ross was put on ECMO also known as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. ECMO is used to oxygenate blood outside the body, before its pumped back into the body.

Rick Ross was reportedly found unresponsive on Thursday morning, March 1, by the emergency unit after a 911 call was placed. A police spokesperson noted that he was breathing heavily by the time the emergency unit arrived at his residence at 3:43am

A dispatch report stated that in 2011, the 42-year-old rapper had suffered a pair of seizures within a span of six hours.

The rapper who weighed 350 pounds had announced that he started to live a healthy life style after he lost 75 pounds in 2016.

In an interview, he said: "I'm still losing weight, and now I'm starting to build hard muscle in places."
