1. People prefer to break up in January: A study found that not only does it take an average of three months for a person to get over a breakup, but also that January is the month that people tend to do so.
The reason being that fact that people tend to feel the need to make a fresh start during this time. Apart from that the subjects of the study also said that this combined with Christmas stress makes January the 'break up month.'
2. Cheating in a relationship does not stop with one incident: Another study found that people who had been disloyal to their partners were three and half times likelier to cheat in later relationships, making the saying, 'once a cheat, always a cheat', true.
3. Your relationship with your mom mitigates how good you are in bed: The study conducted at the Charles University in Prague found that men who had issues with their mothers early in life, found it difficult to perform in bed later in life.
4. Want a long term relationship, avoid men who are night owls: If your man prefers to stay up late at night and rise late in the morning, your relationship might not last too long.
As per the data reported by a study, male night owls reported twice as many sexual partners than male early birds, which could be linked to a night-owl's propensity towards risky behaviour.
5. A one-night-stand might lead to a long standing relationship: This study says that by having sex on the first date you are most likely to find the love of your life.
The study found that a large number of men and women wanted to have sex on their first date with a prospective partner but were afraid it was too soon.
On the other hand they saw that a one-night-stand could lead to something more serious in the future.

Well, it might be a sign of insecurity in your relationship. Researchers saw common traits in insecure individuals like frequently posting on walls, commenting, updating their status or ‘liking’ something; in the hope of getting attention.
7. Low self esteem may ruin your relationship: A study conducted by University Of Waterloo found that people with low self esteem were often the ones to have bad relationships.
They theorized that this was the result of dissatisfaction in the relationship as those people did not voice the problems they had with the relationship because of the fear of rejection. Therefore, highlighting the need for open communication in a relationship.
