Updating your BVN on GTB internet banking

With the increasing incidents of compromise on conventional security systems (password and PIN), there is a high demand for greater security on access to sensitive or personal information in the Banking system.

If you are yet to register with GTB but have registered for the BVN with any other bank,  you don't need to visit GTB branch to update your account if you have internet banking facility with GTB, just perform below tasks 

Note that closing date is 30th June and any account that has not been registered will be lost, that is CBN law

1. Log into your internet banking platform (preferably on a laptop)

2. Click self service

3. Choose BVN Linker

4. In the new page displayed, enter the BVN number giving to you by the other bank bank in the appropriate box

5. Choose the bank name from the drop down box for banks

6. Enter your GTB internet banking secret question answer

7. Click continue and you're done

The system will give you a response that your BVN has been verified
